The Concept of Independent Power Producer is the need of the day. As countries like India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Nepal and many other countries are facing the problems of major shortfall of electricity, where Government is unable to meet the demand-supply need of electricity. Many big companies have tied up with the Government to supply Electricity with the help of Solar PV technology. These Solar plants have really proved a boon to the villages that face irregular or No supply of electricity.
Sterling being a company located in Mumbai, is under the process of building up its own power plant starting with Maharashtra, in order to contribute in solving the power problems in India
Sterling is determined and focused with a vision to develop 100 MW of solar PV Power Plants across India by 2017. To begin with the mission of 100 MW, Sterling is coming up with a 12 Mw DC Power Plant in Dhule district of Maharashtra state. This plant will be functional by the end of 2015, the power generated by this plant will be fed into the grid of MAHADISCOM.
Sterling’s EPC team will be completing the entire project starting from the stage of Design, Analysis, Manufacturing, Erection and Commissioning of the plant. As well as maintaining the plant in-order to ensure proper working of the plant.
